Job summary

VR Foundations in Chennai invites a qualified Purchase Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for construction projects. You will manage vendor sourcing, price negotiations, and timely material deliveries on-site in Porur, Chennai.

The role requires 5+ years in real estate/construction procurement, strong negotiation and vendor management skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally. Immediate joining preferred for Chennai-based male candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 Years of experience as Purchase Manager / Assistant Manager - Purchase in Real Estate / Construction industry is MANDATORY.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and market rates in Chennai.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP / Tally, and purchase documentation.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Must be based in Chennai and available for immediate joining preferred.
• Only Male candidates from Chennai to apply.

• Maintain stock levels, avoid over-purchasing and minimize wastage.
• Conduct market research and maintain price database for all construction materials.
• Ensure quality compliance and handle vendor billing & reconciliation with Accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports on purchases, cost savings, and vendor performance.
