Job summary

MPS Precision Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking a procurement professional to manage material flow, source steel raw materials, and handle supplier contracts.

The role requires identifying vendors, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining material specifications and quality standards essential for machining operations. Experience with AS9100 or quality systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Purchase of raw materials (especially steel) and follow up with suppliers for deliveries.
• Identification of sub-contractors / Vendors and distribution of job orders.
• New vendor identification.
• Follow up with vendors for sub-contractor items and ensure timely deliveries.
• Identification and supply of bought items.
• Issuing purchase orders and contracts.
• Responsibility of handling stores and inventory for material workflow.
• AS9100 relating to purchase.
• Must be conversant with material specifications, machining methods and qualities.
