Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders within approved limits and follow authorization procedures.
• Maintain vendor-wise and item-wise price history to support procurement decisions.
• Track supplier lead times and coordinate delivery schedules with the production planning team.
• Follow up on pending purchase orders and ensure timely material availability.
• Develop alternative suppliers for critical components.
• Handle supplier claims related to defective materials and ensure timely resolution.
