Job summary

UCAM Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Purchase Engineer/Purchase Executive to manage the company’s purchasing activities, build vendor relationships, and optimize purchase operations from its Dobaspet location in Karnataka.

The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, Diploma/BE, and strong knowledge of machining processes and SAP MM. You will handle supplier communications, prepare bids, and ensure ISO documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE required with 2–5 years experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in purchasing in a manufacturing setting is essential.
• Knowledge of machine tools and CNC manufacturing preferred (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Vendor development and supplier interaction.
• Prepare comparative statements and analyze quotations.
• Plan material based on consumption and generate purchase orders.
• Monitor productivity and utilization by process control techniques to meet targets.

General Purpose

UCAM is looking to employ and manage the purchasing activity of its business . To devise supply chain strategies, calculate material and labour costs, evaluate crew performance, oversee compliance, and maintain open lines of communication. When necessary, also analyse data, produce reports, and offer presentations. They develop good relationships with key vendors, identify and develop new potential vendors
