Job summary

UCAM Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated professional to manage purchasing activities, build strong vendor relationships, and optimize supply chain operations from its Dobaspet facility.

The role involves planning material requirements, generating POs, evaluating quotations, and ensuring ISO documentation compliance. Experience in manufacturing procurement and SAP MM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in manufacturing procurement or related supply chain roles.
• Functional knowledge of machine tooling industry preferred (CNC, turning, milling).

Responsibilities

• Vendor development and management of supplier base.
• Interact with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.
• Prepare comparative statements and analyze quotations.
• Plan materials according to consumption and generate purchase orders."
• Ensure compliance with ISO documentation and internal policies.

General Purpose

UCAM is looking to employ and manage the purchasing activity of its business . To devise supply chain strategies, calculate material and labour costs, evaluate crew performance, oversee compliance, and maintain open lines of communication. When necessary, also analyse data, produce reports, and offer presentations. They develop good relationships with key vendors, identify and develop new potential vendors
