Godrej & Boyce (G&B) in Mumbai seeks a procurement professional to manage material planning, purchasing, and vendor development. You will handle enquiry documents, ensure on-time availability, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet budgets and SLAs.

The role emphasizes cost control, GST compliance, and regular MIS reporting, with a focus on aligning supply chain activities with BT requirements and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering with 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience in procurement of materials, services and equipment.
• Familiarity with vendor development and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare enquiry documents.
• Handle annual and monthly materials requirements and manage JIT supplies.
• Ensure availability of inventory as per BT requirement.
• Procure materials, equipment hiring and services as per budget and SLA timelines.
• Present purchase plan / review / MIS on a periodic basis.
• Control material cost.
• Close coordination with CFT teams and provide weekly updates.
• Maintain and ensure ITR clearance and PO closure.
• Maintaining vendor database of existing and new vendors for all categories.
• Ensuring GST and other needful statutory compliance.
