Job summary

Meril is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing activities in our Gujarat operations. You will lead RFQ creation, analyse quotations, issue purchase orders, and drive cost-saving initiatives with suppliers.

You will evaluate vendors on cost, quality and delivery, conduct techno-commercial comparisons, negotiate terms, and ensure ISO and internal quality standards are met while maintaining accurate data and reports.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of procurement experience
• Experience with RFQ, quotations analysis and PO issuance
• Strong vendor negotiation and cost-management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including RFQ preparation, quotation analysis, and PO issuance
• Identify and evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Conduct techno-commercial comparisons and support negotiation processes
• Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials
• Handle vendor communications and resolve routine supply-related issues
• Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable standards such as ISO and internal quality systems
• Maintain accurate procurement data and generate reports as required
