Job summary

Matrix Pharmacorp Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad seeks an experienced procurement professional responsible for API raw materials, chemicals, intermediates, and direct materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.

The role requires coordinating with internal stakeholders such as PPIC, Production, Finance, QC/QA, and Logistics, issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations, and building supplier qualifications while seeking cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement of API raw materials, chemicals, intermediates and direct materials.
• Strong supplier negotiation and cost-saving skills.
• Familiarity with RFQ processes, quotations comparison, and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Purchase of API Raw materials, (Chemicals, Intermediates)
• Manage Procurement Cycles P2P Function.
• Responsible for procurement of API Direct Materials such as General Raw Materials, Chemicals, Solvents, intermediates, etc.
• Responsible for negotiations with external suppliers
• Responsible for procurement of materials at competitive prices and exploring cost saving options.
• Responsible for planning and ensuring deliveries of materials as per required schedules.
• Capable of communicating to external Vendors, seeking RFQs, preparation of Quotation Comparison Sheets, Price Negotiations, Creating and Issuing Purchase orders.
• Responsible for identification of new or potential Vendors and Follow-up with Vendor Quality Team for Qualification of New vendor.
• Co-ordinate with internal stake holders like Warehouse, PPIC, Production, Finance, QC/QA, Commercial-Logistics etc.
• Capable to deal with Vendors with effective communication.
