Job summary

Aadijay Projects Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement and purchasing of construction materials and related items across projects. The role requires coordinating with site teams, vendors, and finance to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in construction procurement, with strong negotiation and ERP/Excel skills to maintain records and optimize supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Purchase, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
• Must have relevant experience in the Construction Industry, especially procurement of construction materials.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchase/procurement preferably with a construction or infrastructure company.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, market rates, and procurement processes.
• Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and vendor-management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and purchase/ERP software will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, tools, and other project requirements.
• Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers for construction materials.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per project requirements and company procedures.
• Coordinate with Site, Store, Accounts, and Project teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor material delivery, quality, quantity, and specifications as per the approved requirements.
• Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, supplier details, and material purchases.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate for competitive rates.
• Track pending orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery at project sites.
• Check market rates and identify opportunities for cost savings and better procurement.
• Ensure all purchases are made within the approved budget and company policies.
• Resolve issues related to material shortages, quality, delayed deliveries, and vendor payments in coordination with concerned departments.
