A Store & Purchase Executive manages inventory, procurement, and vendor relations to ensure smooth supply chain operations. They balance cost efficiency with timely availability of materials.
- Manage to materials / items at construction site on timely and accuracy.
- Manage properly every data in soft copy and hard copy.
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
- Provide advice and resolve creatively any problems / deficiencies.
- Monitor materials and compile reports status report.
- Manage purchase equipment / materials.
- Planning of work should be in advance a day
- Site order Book, Material & Stock record register (in word, out word), Labor attendance register, Machinery & Equipment log book, Safety and Quality.
- Management of time as per Target and to be shared with management time to time.
- Co-ordination with Architect, contractor, client and management.
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, quality and safety etc and deliver all items and other technical documentation as required.
- All concerned Legal norms should be followed by you.
Over all materials and store responsibility of construction site as per quality norms.
Purchasing & Procurement
Source suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, or services.
- Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Inventory & Store Management
Monitor stock levels and reorder when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and balances.
- Implement FIFO/LIFO methods for material handling.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with finance for payment processing.
Coordination
Liaise with project/site teams to understand material requirements.
- Work with logistics for timely delivery.
- Report to management on purchase and stock status.
Required Skills
