Astam Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Purchase Executive to join our procurement team at Netaji Subhash Place, New Delhi.

The role focuses on raw material and packing material purchasing, vendor management, and ensuring uninterrupted material supply for production. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of procurement experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit, with strong vendor development, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination with production and quality

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in Raw Material & Packing Material Purchasing
• Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes
• Excellent Vendor Development and Negotiation skills
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Organizational and Analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop new vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Verify vendor credentials and monitor market pricing.
• Procure raw materials and packing materials as per production requirements.
• Maintain supplier records and inventory details.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for timely procurement.
• Monitor stock levels to avoid production delays.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Track supplier deliveries and resolve procurement issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Assist in procurement cost analysis and budgeting.
