Job summary

Paragon Solutions is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Maharashtra to manage end-to-end purchasing of PP granules, sheets, HDPE components, and related materials for plastics manufacturing.

The role requires strong vendor negotiation, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration with production, stores, and planning teams. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is essential for handling POs, inventory, and supplier data.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, or Supply Chain.
• 25 years of purchase experience, preferably in plastics or packaging manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PP granules, PP sheets, HDPE materials, and manufacturing procurement.
• Good negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Procure PP granules, PP sheets, HDPE components, foam, fasteners, adhesives, consumables, and machinery spares.
• Coordinate material planning with Production, Stores, and Planning teams.
• Identify suppliers, obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages.
• Coordinate with Quality for material rejections and supplier issues.
• Control purchasing costs and develop alternative suppliers.
• Verify supplier invoices and coordinate payments with Accounts.
• Maintain purchase records, supplier data, and MIS reports.
