Job summary

Aqua Clean Systems in Pune seeks a Bought-Out Purchase Engineer to source and purchase engineering components for SPM and automation projects. You will coordinate with vendors, review BOMs, and ensure timely material delivery as per project requirements.

Key duties include vendor development, RFQ handling, PO release, and cross-functional collaboration with Design, Production, Stores, and Quality teams to meet quality standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must hold Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and have 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience sourcing bought-out components for SPM/automation projects.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to read BOMs and engineering drawings accurately.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel for procurement tracking.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchase activities for bought-out components.
• Review BOMs, drawings, specs, and purchase requirements.
• Identify and develop vendors for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic components.
• Send RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate terms.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders; ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, Quality and Project teams.
• Maintain MIS/reports on PO status, vendors, and deliveries.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Bought-Out Purchase Engineer who will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing engineering components, coordinating with vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchase activities for bought-out components required for SPM and automation projects.
• Review BOM, technical drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
• Identify and develop suitable vendors for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and other engineering components.
• Send RFQs/enquiries to vendors and collect quotations.
• Compare quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and technical specifications.
• Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, Quality, and Project teams for purchase requirements.
• Monitor pending orders and maintain proper purchase records.
• Handle vendor performance, quality issues, and delivery-related concerns.
• Support cost reduction and vendor development activities.
• Ensure purchased components meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain MIS/reports related to purchase orders, vendor status, pending materials, and deliveries.

Required Skills

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in SPM, Automation, Machine Manufacturing, Capital Equipment, or Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
