Job summary

Motion Drivetronics in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Purchase Engineer to oversee component and material procurement for our manufacturing operations.

You will manage supplier development, negotiate terms, and maintain strong vendor relationships while handling capex and consumables to keep production running smoothly. A diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of CNC machines is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines is a must.
• Experience in manufacturing procurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure components including small pressing, CNC/VMC, and molding parts.
• Source raw materials such as round bars, plates, sheets, forgings, and castings.
• Procure local and specialized items like copper wire, gears, and pinions.
• Develop suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships.
• Handle capex items and consumables for operations.
