Smiles Placements is seeking a procurement-focused candidate to manage raw material purchases including steel plates, bars, tubes, and aluminium. You will read drawings, evaluate steel grades, perform market research, and handle supplier inquiries and quotations.

The role involves registering POs, ensuring timely system entry, and coordinating all supplier-related activities to support production.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing raw materials like steel plates, bars, tubes, hollow pipes, casting, and aluminium.
• Solid understanding of steel grades and market research.
• Ability to read drawings and handle enquiries, quotations and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Register POs on the orders register and ensure verification and on-time entry in the system.
• Organize, coordinate, communicate and participate in all supplier-related activities.
