Job summary

Vasudha Realty ( Shivpriya Realtors LLP ) in Pune seeks a procurement professional to manage purchasing of construction materials, equipment and services, coordinate POs, and ensure timely deliveries in line with project schedules.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of purchase/procurement experience in real estate or construction, strong MS Excel and ERP skills, and proven negotiation and vendor-management abilities. Pune-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• MS Excel and ERP software proficiency.
• Knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.
• Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• 5–6 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in real estate or construction.
• Candidates from Pune region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase construction materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Ensure materials are purchased and delivered on time as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with site engineers and stores for material requirements.
• Find and develop new vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain good relationships with existing vendors.
• Collect and compare quotations from different vendors.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery time with suppliers.
• Check market prices and keep track of material price changes.
• Select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Develop alternative vendors to avoid material supply problems.
• Check purchase agreements and supplier contracts.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and project specifications.
• Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with Stores and Site teams for material receipt and usage.
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain proper records of vendors, quotations, POs, and purchases.
• Ensure procurement follows company policies and procedures.
