Job summary

Polymed in India is seeking an experienced professional to handle Indirect Purchase with exposure to Automation & TPM, ensuring timely procurement of MRO, automation components, spares, and maintenance-related services.

You will manage end-to-end Indirect Purchase and P2P activities, procure MRO items, automation components, and negotiate terms with suppliers. Coordination with Automation, Maintenance, Production and Finance teams is essential to minimize downtime and support TPM activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect purchasing and procurement-to-pay processes.
• Familiarity with MRO and automation components.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and cost-reduction skills.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Indirect Purchase and P2P activities.
• Procure MRO items, automation components, electrical/electronic spares, tools, consumables, and maintenance services.
• Develop and manage suppliers; obtain quotes and negotiate price, delivery, and terms.
• Coordinate with Automation, Maintenance, Production, Stores, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure timely availability of critical spares to minimize downtime; support TPM activities.
• Manage AMC, repair, maintenance, and technical service procurement.
• Maintain procurement records, MIS, and vendor performance.

• Coordinate with Automation, Maintenance, Production, Stores, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure timely availability of critical spares to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support TPM activities through effective procurement planning.
• Manage AMC, repair, maintenance, and technical service procurement.
• Maintain procurement records, MIS, and vendor performance.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is required.
