Job summary

Aluplast Vadodara is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee raw materials, consumables and capital purchases, including import purchases and CHA coordination.

You will build a reliable supplier base, achieve cost reductions through negotiation and alternate sourcing, ensure SAP-driven procurement, and maintain records for internal Sales/SCM.

Qualification: 10–15 years of relevant experience, degree or diploma in materials management, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

• Responsible for overall purchase function covering Raw Materials, Consumables & Capital Purchase.
• Import Purchases and coordination with CHA.
• Work with technical team for development of new components and systems.
• Establish a stable supplier base that will allow for consistent availability of all required consumables, Spare parts
• Achieve cost reduction targets through negotiations, alternate sourcing and vendor development
• Processing of purchase Indents & making bid comparison statements
• Work with SAP for all purchase-related activities and reporting.
• Tracking Orders and availability and information to internal Sales/SCM
• Maintaining all records related to Purchase and ensuring compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end purchase activities including raw materials, consumables and capital items.
• Coordinate import purchases and CHA activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams for new component development.
• Build and manage a reliable supplier base to ensure availability.
• Negotiate for cost reductions and source alternates where feasible.
• Prepare indents and bid analyses for procurement decisions.
• Utilise SAP for procurement processes and reporting.
• Monitor orders and keep internal teams informed.
• Maintain compliant purchase records and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience 10 to 15 Years relevant experience is must.
