Job summary

Vision India Services is seeking a procurement professional to handle end-to-end purchase activities in a manufacturing setting in Tamil Nadu. You will coordinate with vendors, raise POs, ensure timely deliveries, and collaborate with Production, Stores, Design and Engineering teams to meet material requirements.

The role requires 2-3 years of purchase experience in engineering/manufacturing and involves negotiating with suppliers, evaluating quotations, and ensuring compliance with BOM

• 2-3 years of purchase experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Male gender requirement.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchase activities including RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO generation and follow-up.
• Generate and release Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved purchase requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for price, delivery schedules, quality and payment terms.
• Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Understand BOM, material specifications, drawings and purchase requirements.
• Source materials for welding automation machines, fabrication and machine assembly.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Design and Engineering teams to understand material requirements.
• Identify and develop suitable vendors for engineering and machine-manufacturing materials.
