Qualifications

• Understanding of foreign exchange operations and banking procedures
• Familiarity with IDPMS and EDPMS portal systems
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and internet operations
• Knowledge of SPM automation products and industrial components

Role Overview This is a full-time Purchase Engineer position responsible for managing end-to-end procurement operations, including imports and domestic purchases. The role involves handling complex documentation, vendor relationships, and inventory management while ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities • Manage and process import documentation for both air and sea shipments end-to-end • Handle foreign exchange transactions and coordinate with banking partners for payment processing • Resolve queries and manage operations through IDPMS and EDPMS portal systems • Develop and maintain vendor relationships for both domestic and international suppliers • Oversee inventory management and stock optimization • Conduct supplier visits for domestic purchases and quality assurance • Calculate and analyze standard costs for import shipments and procurement activities • Identify and recommend automation products including actuator devices, linear motion guides, ball screws and nuts through SPM • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery

Must-Have Skills • BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering • 0-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations • Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 • Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and processes (air and sea freight) • Understanding of foreign exchange operations and banking procedures • Familiarity with IDPMS and EDPMS portal systems • Proficiency in MS Office suite and internet operations • Knowledge of SPM automation products and industrial components
