Role & responsibilities

• 1. Procurement & Sourcing
• - Identify and evaluate suppliers for mechanical components, raw materials, and equipment.
• - Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.
• - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
• 2. Vendor Management
• - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• - Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• - Conduct vendor audits and assessments when required
• 3.Technical Coordination
• -Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical specifications.
• -Ensure purchased items meet mechanical design and quality requirements.
• -Provide technical support in resolving procurement-related issues.
• 4. Cost & Inventory Control
• -Analyze market trends to achieve cost savings.
• -Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• -Track and report procurement KPIs (cost, quality, delivery timelines).
