Job summary

BABA Group of companies seeks a Procurement MIS Analyst to consolidate procurement data from 30 units in Hyderabad and deliver MIS dashboards for management review. You will monitor price variations, compare prices with past data, and identify deviations to support cost reductions and procurement decisions.

The role requires strong analytical and numerical skills, experience with ERP systems, and familiarity with Power BI/Excel to build dashboards and reports for procurement planning.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and analyse procurement data from nearly 30 units.
• Prepare regular Purchase MIS reports, dashboards and management reports.
• Monitor and analyse material-wise and vendor-wise price variations.
• Compare current purchase prices with previous prices and identify significant deviations.
• Highlight unusual price movements to the Purchase Head.
• Analyse vendor-wise pricing, purchase volumes and procurement trends.
• Maintain central database of purchase prices and historical procurement data.
• Track major purchase items and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Analyse PO, GRN, and consumption-related data.
• Coordinate with unit-level Purchase teams for accurate data.
• Prepare monthly, weekly and ad-hoc procurement reports.
• Support the Purchase Head with data for vendor negotiations.
• Identify data discrepancies and ensure accuracy of reports.
• Develop Excel-based dashboards and trackers.

Role & responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and analyse procurement data received from nearly 30 units.


• Prepare regular Purchase MIS reports, dashboards and management reports.


• Monitor and analyse material-wise and vendor-wise price variations.


• Compare current purchase prices with previous purchase prices and identify significant deviations.


• Highlight unusual or abnormal price increases/decreases to the Purchase Head.


• Analyse vendor-wise pricing, purchase volumes and procurement trends.


• Maintain a central database of purchase prices and historical procurement data.


• Track major purchase items and identify opportunities for cost reduction and savings.


• Analyse PO, GRN, purchase and consumption-related data.


• Coordinate with unit-level Purchase teams to obtain accurate and timely data.


• Prepare monthly, weekly and ad-hoc procurement reports as required by management.


• Support the Purchase Head with data for vendor negotiations and commercial discussions.


• Identify data discrepancies and ensure accuracy of procurement reports.


• Develop Excel-based dashboards, trackers and analytical reports.


• Provide meaningful insights to support procurement planning and decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good understanding of procurement and purchase processes.


• Strong analytical and numerical skills.


• Experience in price comparison and price variation analysis.


• Ability to handle large volumes of data from multiple locations.


• Good knowledge of MIS reporting and data reconciliation.


• Knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.


• Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Procurement MIS, Purchase Analytics, Purchase Data Analysis, Commercial Analysis or Supply Chain Analytics will be preferred.

Experience in handling procurement data across multiple plants/units will be an added advantage.
