Job summary

Livasa Hospitals seeks an experienced SCM Data Analyst to consolidate and analyze data from ERP/HMS systems, and to generate daily to monthly MIS reports. The role focuses on dashboards, data quality, and actionable insights for procurement, inventory, and vendor performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and Power BI skills, with knowledge of SQL and a solid understanding of procurement and inventory processes. Relevant experience in healthcare supply chains is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel with Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, data validation.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, consolidate and analyze SCM data from ERP/HMS and other systems.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly SCM MIS reports.
  • Develop management dashboards and analytical reports for senior management.
  • Identify trends, variances, exceptions and abnormal transactions.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to SCM management.
  • Analyze procurement cost, selling price, MRP and margin data.
  • Identify opportunities for procurement cost reduction.
  • Prepare product/item-wise margin analysis.
  • Analyze price changes and their impact on profitability.
  • Support management with cost-saving and margin-improvement analysis.
  • Analyze PO, GRN, invoices and purchase rates.
  • Monitor PO rate vs GRN rate vs invoice rate and identify discrepancies.
  • Analyze vendor-wise and item-wise purchase trends.
  • Track price variations and support procurement teams in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze quotation history and changes in approved purchase prices.
  • Monitor procurement volumes, purchase frequency and vendor dependency.
  • Analyze inventory levels, stock movement and inventory ageing.
  • Prepare reports on non-moving, slow-moving, fast-moving and critical items.
  • Monitor stock coverage and identify excess or shortage risks.
  • Analyze inventory turnover and working capital impact.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Identify near-expiry and expired stock trends.
  • Prepare vendor-wise performance reports.
  • Analyze purchase value, pricing, supply frequency and delivery performance.
  • Track vendor rate variations and compliance with approved PO rates.
  • Identify vendors/items requiring corrective action.
  • Support vendor evaluation and performance review.
  • Validate SCM data before publishing management reports.
  • Identify data discrepancies between PO, GRN, invoice and system records.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Finance, IT and Business teams for data correction.
  • Develop and monitor data validation checks and exception reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of master and transaction data.
  • Develop automated dashboards using Power BI / Excel.
  • Automate repetitive MIS and reporting activities.
  • Create interactive dashboards for procurement, inventory and vendor performance.
  • Improve reporting efficiency through automation and standardization.

Key Responsibilities
SCM Data Analysis & MIS

Required Skills

Educational Qualification

Graduate / Post Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Applications or related field. Certification in Data Analytics / Power BI / Supply Chain Analytics will be an advantage.

Experience

Preferred Experience: 12 - 15 + years in SCM Analytics, MIS, Business Analytics, Procurement Analytics, Inventory Analytics or a related role. Experience in hospital supply chain, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail or distribution will be preferred.
