Job summary

Kanchi Designs in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra is seeking a proactive Purchase & Procurement professional to streamline material sourcing, vendor coordination, and order tracking. The role involves handling POs, quotations, and documentation, ensuring timely delivery and accurate records.

Ideal candidates will manage vendor communications, track orders through to receipt, and collaborate with Accounts for invoice details. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.

Qualifications

• Assist in purchasing materials as per requirements.
• Collect and compare quotations from vendors.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain purchase records.
• Follow up with vendors for rates, availability and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate for timely material procurement.
• Communicate with existing and new vendors.
• Follow up on pending orders, deliveries and quotations.
• Maintain vendor details and purchase-related information.
• Support vendor evaluation and comparison when required.

Responsibilities

• Track Purchase Orders from order placement to delivery.
• Coordinate with Stores for material receipt and shortages.
• Follow up on delayed or pending materials.
• Report delivery issues or discrepancies to the Purchase team.
• Maintain purchase files, quotations, POs, invoices and related documents.
• Update purchase data in Excel / Google Sheets.
• Prepare purchase reports and pending-order trackers.
• Ensure records are accurate and up to date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
