Job summary

Aztec Fluids in India is seeking a procurement professional to plan purchases, execute procurement activities, and manage vendor performance. The role focuses on cost control, budgeting, and ensuring compliant documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices) aligned with SOPs.

You will forecast demand, float RFQs, negotiate terms, and develop new suppliers for better pricing and supply security, while coordinating with finance and logistics to track landed costs and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement planning and vendor management.
• Knowledge of GST/HSN and customs processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS).
• ERP and related procurement software familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan purchases based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and AMC schedules.

Role & responsibilities

1. Procurement Planning & Execution
   • a. Plan purchases based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, AMC schedules.
   • b. Float RFQs, obtain comparative quotations, prepare L1/L2/L3 analysis.
   • c. Finalize vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
   • d. Issue POs and follow up for delivery timelines.
2. Vendor Management
   • a. Maintain approved vendor list with performance metrics.
   • b. Conduct periodic vendor assessments & negotiate terms.
   • c. Develop new vendors for better pricing & supply security.
   • d. Ensure suppliers comply with quality and documentation standards.
3. Commercial Documentation & Compliance
   • a. Maintain accuracy in POs, GRNs, invoices, rate approvals.
   • b. Review GST/HSN/LC documentation for compliance.
   • c. Ensure audit-ready purchase files & follow SOPs.
4. Cost Control & Budget Management
   • a. Control procurement budgets and evaluate variance.
   • b. Identify cost-saving opportunities in materials, imports, freight, and packaging.
   • c. Track landed cost for imported materials.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support Import Executive with order placements & shipment planning.
2. Coordinate with Inventory Manager for stock planning & demand forecasts.
3. Work with Finance for vendor payment scheduling.
4. Prepare procurement MIS for management review.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of purchase and commercial processes.
• Understanding of customs duty structure, GST rules, HSN codes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS).
• Experience with ERP/Salesforce is an advantage.
