Job summary

GRT Jewellers in Chennai is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier relationships, source materials, negotiate contracts, and oversee stock and purchase orders. The role requires strong Excel skills, good communication, and the ability to follow client specifications to meet cost targets.

You will coordinate with marketing during dispatch and maintain accurate records. The candidate will contribute to cost optimisation and timely delivery, while ensuring compliance with purchase

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to follow client specifications.
• Hands-on experience in Excel / Advance Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
• Sourcing materials, goods, products and services and negotiating the best or most cost effective contracts and deals.
• Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
• Maintaining data's in Excel
• Purchase order and follow up items
• Coordinating with marketing till dispatch.
