Daund Sugar is seeking a Junior Purchase Executive to support supplier sourcing, material procurement and contract negotiations at our Nariman Point location in Mumbai. The role requires hands-on market research, vendor coordination, and strong liaison with production teams to ensure timely stock delivery.

Ideal candidates have a manufacturing background, relevant degree, and solid skills in data analysis, communication, and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in any specialization is required.
• Candidates mostly from the manufacturing industry will be preferred.
• Knowledge of quality products and legal standards is essential.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and leadership skills.
• Solid math, data analysis and statistical methods knowledge.
• Excellent communication, listening and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant management software programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product research and sourcing of new suppliers and vendors.
• Source materials and negotiate cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Perform market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Update and maintain records of orders, payments and stock.
• Coordinate with delivery teams and manage delays or reschedules.
• Attend product launches and network with industry professionals.

Role & responsibilities

Urgently required for the post of Junior Purchase Executive - Nariman Point.

• Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
• Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
• Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
• Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
• Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
• Establishing professional relationships with clients, as well as vendors and suppliers.
• Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Any Specilization.
• Mainly from the Manufacturing industry only
