Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ) seeks a Store & Purchase Manager (Non-Inventory) to oversee procurement and store operations for non-inventory items like packing materials, gift items, and consumables for showroom operations. The role emphasizes vendor management, stock accuracy, ERP-based reporting, and strict adherence to MM&R policies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement planning, vendor coordination, CST/quotations, and asset tracking within a jewellery retail

Qualifications

• Any Degree is acceptable for the role.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement and store management, preferably in retail or jewellery sector.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Vendor Management: Support day-to-day procurement operations for non-inventory materials; plan and coordinate with vendors for timely material supply; invite quotations; prepare CSTs and negotiate best rates; ensure purchases meet market-standard pricing and quality; manage procurement of packaging gift items for showroom operations.
• Store & Inventory Management: Maintain inward/outward records with barcode assorting; track material conditions and usage; conduct monthly stock audits; identify non-moving stock; implement scrap and disposal policy; ensure MMRes.
• ERP & Reporting: Record store and purchase transactions in real-time using ERP; generate purchase, stock, and consumption reports; submit monthly MIS reports; coordinate with accounts for GRN verification in ERP.
• Asset Recording & Tracking: Maintain asset register; implement asset barcoding; ensure assets received are properly documented.
• Inward & Outward Management: Supervise inward movement with GRN verification; track outward movements with gate passes; document inter-department transfers and disposals.
• Asset Condition & Lifecycle Monitoring: Periodically check asset condition and service/replace as needed; maintain maintenance history.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Store & Purchase Manager (Non-Inventory) to handle the end-to-end procurement and store functions of non-inventory items such as packing materials, gift itemand consumables required for showroom operations. The candidate must have strong knowledge in vendor management, storekeeping, and purchase planning aligned with quality and cost standards.

Job Desription:

Procurement & Vendor Management:

• Support day-to-day procurement operations for non-inventory materials.
• Plan and coordinate with vendors for timely material supply as per requirements.
• Invite quotations, prepare Comparative Statement of Tenders (CST), and negotiate best rates without compromising quality.
• Ensure all purchases meet market-standard pricing and are aligned with quality expectations.
• Manage procurement of general packaging gift items materials required for Jewellery showroom operations.

Store & Inventory Management:

• Maintain proper inward and outward material records with barcode assorting.
• Ensure systematic assorting and tracking of material conditions and usage.
• Conduct monthly stock audits and report discrepancies, if any.
• Monitor and identify non-moving or slow-moving stock items.
• Implement regular scrap and disposable policy as per company guidelines.
• Fix & strict on MMR.

ERP & Reporting

• Ensure all store and purchase transactions are recorded in real-time using the ERP system.
• Generate purchase, stock, and consumption reports through the ERP dashboard.
• Submit monthly MIS reports, including cost trends, vendor performance, and item usage analytics.
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice matching and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) verification in ERP.

Asset Recording & Tracking:

• Maintain a detailed and updated asset register for all purchases.
• Implement and manage asset barcoding systems for effective tracking.
• Ensure every asset received is recorded with proper documentation.

Inward & Outward Management:

• Supervise the inward movement of goods with GRN (Goods Receipt Note) verification.
• Track outward movement of assets with proper gate pass and approvals.
• Maintain clear documentation for inter-department transfers and disposals.

Asset Condition & Lifecycle Monitoring:

• Conduct periodic checks on asset condition and ensure timely servicing or replacement.
• Maintain maintenance history and condition reports.
