Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services invites applications for a Proposal Engineer- Water Systems in Koparkhairane MIDC, Navi Mumbai. You should have 2–3 years experience, BE/BTech or equivalent, and strong knowledge of GMP, ASME BPE and FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech or equivalent degree is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in water treatment or high purity systems.
• Experience in tendering and techno-commercial proposals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Study and analyze customer RFQs, specifications, URS, and tender documents.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for high purity systems (PW, WFI, Clean Utilities, process piping).
• Develop system concepts, P&IDs, BOQs, equipment sizing, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with design, projects, procurement, and vendors for inputs and pricing.
• Obtain vendor quotations and ensure spec compliance.
• Prepare detailed cost breakups, margins, and final offer documents.
• Support sales during technical discussions and negotiations.
• Ensure proposals comply with GMP, ASME BPE, FDA, ISPE.
• Maintain proposal records and documentation.
• Handover of awarded projects to execution teams.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Proposal Engineer with strong expertise in high purity systems to manage techno-commercial proposals. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely proposals by coordinating with sales, engineering, procurement, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Study and analyze customer RFQs, specifications, URS, and tender documents.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for high purity systems (PW, WFI, Clean Utilities, process piping, etc.)
• Develop system concepts, P&IDs, BOQs, equipment sizing, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with design, projects, procurement, and vendors for technical inputs and pricing
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and ensure compliance with specifications
• Prepare detailed cost breakups, margins, and final offer documents
• Support sales team during technical discussions, clarifications, and negotiations
• Ensure proposals comply with industry standards (GMP, ASME BPE, FDA, ISPE, etc.)
• Maintain proposal records, version control, and documentation
• Support handover of awarded projects to execution teams

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of High Purity Water Systems, Clean Utilities, and Pharma piping
• Understanding of GMP, ASME BPE, 3-A, FDA guidelines
• Experience in preparation of P&IDs, GA drawings, BOQs (coordination level)
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and client requirements
• Familiarity with costing, estimation, and vendor management

Software Skills
