Automax Engineers Pvt. Ltd. invites a technically sound Proposal Engineer to join our team in Greater Noida. You will prepare techno-commercial proposals, analyse customer requirements and coordinate with sales for order conversion.

Role requires knowledge of valve automation, actuators, and AutoCAD reading/drawing. Diploma/B.Tech in mechanical or instrumentation engineering is preferred; 1–5 years experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Tech in mechanical or instrumentation engineering.
• 1–5 years experience in proposal engineering or valve automation.
• Freshers with strong technical fundamentals may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotations based on customer enquiries.
• Analyse RFQs, technical specifications, BOQs and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for pricing, technical details and delivery schedules.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of valve automation products and actuators.
• Read GA drawings and review technical specifications for accuracy.
• Communicate with customers for clarifications and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with the sales team for project enquiries and order conversion.
• Provide engineering solutions to customer requirements.

About the Role

Automax Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically sound and commercially driven Proposal Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing techno-commercial proposals, understanding customer requirements, selecting suitable valve automation solutions, and providing technical support to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)

1. Techno-Commercial Proposal Preparation
   • Prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations and offers based on customer enquiries.
   • Analyse RFQs, technical specifications, BOQs and customer requirements.
   • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for pricing, technical details and delivery schedules.
2. Technical Knowledge & Product Selection
   • Develop in-depth knowledge of industrial valves and valve automation products.
   • Understand and select suitable pneumatic/electric actuators, positioners, solenoid valves, limit switches and other automation accessories.
   • Prepare technical compliance statements and product datasheets.
3. Engineering & Drawing
   • Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading, understanding and preparing technical drawings.
   • Understand GA drawings, actuator mounting arrangements and valve automation assemblies.
   • Review technical specifications and drawings for accuracy.
4. Customer Coordination & Communication
   • Communicate with customers for technical clarifications and enquiry follow-ups.
   • Coordinate with the sales team for project enquiries and order conversion.
   • Maintain professional customer relationships and provide timely technical responses.
5. Problem Solving & Coordination
   • Identify technical and commercial gaps in customer enquiries.
   • Provide appropriate engineering solutions to customer requirements.
   • Coordinate with procurement, vendors, production and sales teams for timely submission of offers.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial valves and valve automation.
• Good understanding of pneumatic and electrical actuators and accessories.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and preparation of technical documents.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Eligibility

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in Proposal Engineering, Valve Automation, Industrial Valves or Technical Sales.
• Freshers with strong technical fundamentals may also be considered.
