Job summary

Vefes Engineering Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai invites an experienced Proposal Engineer to join the Backend Team. The role focuses on techno-commercial proposals for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, with emphasis on CAPEX, OPEX and Group Captive models.

You will conduct detailed electricity bill analyses, project reports, BOM checks, and coordinate across Sales, Design, Engineering, Project & Procurement teams. Mumbai-based, 6–7 years exp.

Qualifications

• Experience in Solar PV rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
• Experience in CAPEX, OPEX & Group Captive models.
• Knowledge of BESS modelling & simulation.
• Strong understanding of electricity bills & tariff analysis.
• Solar project costing & BOM knowledge.
• Excellent MS Excel & analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Zoho CRM.
• Strong communication & coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects under CAPEX, OPEX & Group Captive models.
• Conduct detailed electricity bill analysis: capacity sizing, tariff calculations and BESS requirements.
• Prepare DPRs (Detailed Project Reports) and deal-related documentation.
• Maintain project and lead data in Zoho CRM and coordinate with clients/leads.
• Analyze techno-commercial proposals from technical & financial perspectives to assess feasibility.
• Prepare BESS modelling & simulation studies to optimize sizing and performance.
• Check and verify BOM based on client requirements and site surveys.
• Coordinate with Sales, Design, Engineering, Project & Procurement Teams for proposals.
• Provide technical-commercial support to Sales during client discussions and proposals submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Techno-Commercial Proposals for Rooftop & Ground-Mounted Solar PV projects under CAPEX, OPEX & Group Captive models.

  • Solar Plant Capacity Sizing
  • Landed & Base Tariff Calculations
  • BESS Capacity Requirements
• Prepare DPRs (Detailed Project Reports) and deal-related documentation.

• Analyze techno-commercial proposals from technical & financial perspectives to assess project feasibility.
