Job summary

Subhasree Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Proposal Engineer to prepare techno-commercial proposals for solar EPC rooftop projects and to engage in trading activities related to CESC.

The role involves BOQ preparation, costing support, and coordination with OEMs and vendors for trading requirements. You will collect, analyze, and compare vendor quotations, support detailed project cost estimations, and help prepare comprehensive tender documents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solar PV components and plant configuration.
• Familiarity with rooftop solar project execution considerations.
• Understanding EPC contract fundamentals, scope, deliverables and terms.
• Strong ability to prepare and organize technical and commercial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for coordination with teams, OEMs and vendors.

We are looking out for a Proposal Engineer to prepare techno-commercial proposals for solar EPC for rooftop projects. Also, to engage in activity related to trading job related to CESC.

Key Responsibilities

• BOQ & Costing Support
• Prepare basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for solar project components including modules, inverters, MMS, cables, earthing systems, etc.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for trading-related requirements.
• Collect, analyse, and compare vendor quotations; regularly update the price database.
• Support preparation of detailed project cost estimations and budgetary calculations.
• Proposal & Tender Support
• Assist in the preparation of techno-commercial proposals for solar projects.
• Prepare compliance matrices, technical datasheets, and supporting documents as per tender requirements.
• Compile, review, and organize complete tender documents for timely submissions.
• Coordination & Documentation
• Coordinate closely with sales and procurement teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment.
• Maintain structured proposal folders, records, and documentation for future reference and audits.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of solar PV systems, components, and overall plant configuration.
• Knowledge of industrial rooftop solar projects and related execution considerations.
• Familiarity with EPC contract fundamentals, including scope, deliverables, and commercial terms.
