Job summary

Voltech HR Services is seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to prepare technical and commercial proposals for Siemens-based industrial solutions. You will analyze RFQs, develop cost estimates, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project teams to ensure timely submissions.

This role requires strong knowledge of Siemens products, automation systems, and CAD tools, plus excellent communication to support pre-sales activities and tender compliances.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation and electrical projects.
• Experience handling Siemens-based tenders and proposals.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or EPLAN is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer RFQs, tenders, and technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop cost estimations, BOM and pricing calculations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project teams for proposal preparation.
• Select suitable Siemens products and solutions based on application requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, compliance statements, and quotations.
• Support sales teams during customer discussions and negotiations.
• Review tender documents and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintain proposal records and track submission status.
• Provide technical clarification and support during pre-sales activities.

• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals based on customer requirements.
• Develop cost estimations, BOM (Bill of Materials), and pricing calculations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams for proposal preparation.li>
• Select suitable Siemens products and solutions based on application requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, compliance statements, and quotations.
• Support sales teams during customer discussions and negotiations.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Siemens products such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, Drives, Switchgear, Automation systems, and Electrical components.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation and electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD / EPLAN (added advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in industrial automation, panel manufacturing, electrical projects, or system integration industries.
• Experience handling Siemens-based solutions and tender proposals will be an added advantage.
