Job summary

Shavish Group in Pune is seeking an Engineer/Sr. Engineer Proposals (Pneumatics) to support techno-commercial proposals and RFQ responses. The role requires background in pneumatics, valve automation and industrial automation, with strong MS Office skills and a teamwork mindset.

Based at VimanNagar, Pune, the candidate will assist with quotation preparation, coordinate with vendors, and maintain proposal records while aligning with department processes and learning needs.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in Pneumatics, Valve Automation Systems or Industrial Automation.
• BE or Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and basic Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals for domestic and export enquiries.
• Support quotation preparation for valves and valve automation systems, pneumatic cylinders, accessories.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders with supervision.
• Coordinate with sub-vendors to obtain quotations for bought-out items.
• Support evaluation and comparison of sub-vendor offers for proposal inclusion.
• Respond to technical queries from customers, distributors, sales, and suppliers with guidance.
• Prepare basic drawings at the proposal stage as required.
• Maintain records of enquiries, submitted proposals, proposal drawings, sub-vendor quotations.
• Provide proposal-related support to Sales Managers and Sales Engineers during bidding.
• Follow department and company processes to ensure compliance with internal systems and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, sales, procurement) as required.
• Take up additional responsibilities as assigned, aligned with learning and business needs.

JobDuties&Responsibilities

• Assistinpreparing techno-commercialproposals for domestic and export enquiries under the guidance of senior engineers or the proposal manager
• Supportquotationpreparationfor:
  Valvesandvalveautomationsystems
  Pneumaticcylinders(On-Off,Regulating)
  Accessoriessuchassolenoidvalves,positioners,limitswitches,AFRs,airreceivers,etc.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders (online/offline) with supervision
• Coordinate with sub-vendorstoobtain quotations for bought-out items
• Support evaluation and comparison of sub-vendor offers for proposal inclusion
• Respond to technical queries (TQs) from customers, distributors, sales, and suppliers with guidance from senior team members
• Prepare basic / preliminary drawings at the proposal stage as required
• Maintain and update records of:

  Submittedproposals

  Sub-vendor quotations
