Job summary

Fat Pig Ventures is seeking a Property Documentation Executive to organize and pursue property-related documents, registrations, revenue records, taxes, utilities and government-office matters. The role requires frequent travel across Rajasthan, West Bengal, Odisha, Delhi NCR and Haryana.

You will build and maintain complete digital and physical files for residential and commercial properties, review deeds and records, and coordinate with lawyers, banks and authorities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of practical experience in property documentation, registration, land/revenue records, mutation or a real-estate/lawyer/consultant documentation role.
• Ability to read and understand common property and land records and recognize when legal review is required.
• Complete fluency in Hindi and English, verbal and written. Many documents are in Hindi.
• Willingness to travel and make repeat visits.

Responsibilities

• Review available deeds, allotment and possession records, patta or lease records, revenue extracts, mutation orders, plans, loan papers, tax records, utility records and powers of attorney and identify missing documents or inconsistencies.
• Submit, collect and follow up on property documentation matters such as registration, mutation, patta or lease changes, certified copies, revenue records, tax-name changes and utility transfers.
• Coordinate with lawyers, banks, builders, government offices and local authorities.
• Scan, name, index and store documents consistently.

About the Role

Nice to Haves

• Direct experience in one or more of Rajasthan, West Bengal, Odisha, Delhi NCR or Haryana.
• Working familiarity with sub-registrar, tehsil/revenue, municipal and development-authority processes.
• Experience obtaining certified copies, encumbrance/search records, mutation orders, revenue extracts, tax records or no-dues documents.
• Experience with bank/mortgage files, e-stamping, registration appointments, powers of attorney or utility transfers.

Qualifications

• Graduate preferred; law, commerce or public-administration exposure is useful.
• Practical property-documentation experience is the primary qualification.
