About the Role

We are looking for a Project Technical Support Consultant to be deputed at a Government Client Office in Mumbai for an IT Project.

The role involves working closely with client users, project stakeholders, and our internal technical team to support day-to-day platform operations, understand user requirements, coordinate issue resolution, assist during demonstrations and testing, and ensure smooth functioning of the deployed solution.

The candidate will act as an important coordination point between the client and the Capulus Technologies project team.

IMPORTANT: This role is strictly open to current residents of Mumbai only.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for the project at the client location.
• Understand issues, requirements, observations, and feedback shared by client users.
• Perform initial analysis of reported application issues before escalating them to the relevant technical team.
• Coordinate with development, database, infrastructure, data engineering, and support teams for issue resolution.
• Track reported issues and follow up internally until closure.
• Assist users in understanding application modules, workflows, features, and functionalities.
• Support client demonstrations, review meetings, UAT activities, training sessions, and project presentations.
• Validate implemented fixes and enhancements before confirming closure with users.
• Maintain proper records of issues, observations, change requests, and client communications.
• Assist in preparing status reports, MOMs, issue trackers, requirement notes, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders for required inputs, approvals, clarifications, and dependencies.
• Perform basic application monitoring and identify operational issues requiring technical intervention.
• Support data verification and validate whether information is being correctly reflected across platform modules.
• Assist during deployment, upgrades, configuration changes, and release activities.
• Escalate critical project or operational issues to the appropriate Capulus Technologies team.
• Maintain professional communication and conduct while working from the Government Client Office.
• Follow applicable project confidentiality, information security, access control, and Government data handling requirements.

Required Skills

• 1 to 2 years of experience in software support, application support, project coordination, implementation support, technical consulting, or similar roles.
• Understanding of web applications, databases, APIs, servers, and enterprise software systems.
• Ability to understand software workflows and troubleshoot basic functional and technical issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with Government officials, client stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to prepare issue descriptions, screenshots, observations, and supporting details clearly.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and common project tracking tools.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently from the client location while coordinating with remote technical teams.
• Willingness to learn complex enterprise and government technology platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Government, Smart City, Police, Safe City, or e-Governance projects.
• Exposure to application implementation or client-site deployment projects.
• Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Understanding of REST APIs, logs, network connectivity, and server environments.
• Experience working with dashboards, GIS applications, analytics platforms, or data-intensive systems.
• Experience supporting UAT, Go-Live, or production environments.

Role Environment

The selected candidate will be primarily stationed at a Government Client Office in Mumbai and will represent Capulus Technologies for project-level coordination and support activities.

The role requires regular interaction with client stakeholders and close coordination with Capulus Technologies' development and project teams.

This is a client-facing position, and the candidate is expected to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, responsiveness, and proper documentation at all times.

Compensation
