Crimson Energy Experts Private Limited is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Consultant to support and coordinate engineering projects in the Defence / Government sector.
The Project Consultant will be responsible for supporting project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, project reviews, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, documentation, and project closure. The role requires strong project-management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure timely achievement of milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, dependencies, risks, and action items.
- Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and expenditure monitoring.
- Participate in and support project review meetings.
- Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and maintain systematic records of decisions and action points.
- Follow up with concerned stakeholders on action points and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare project status reports, MIS reports, dashboards, trackers, and management updates.
- Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for project reviews, client meetings, and management discussions.
- Draft formal letters, faxes, emails, notes, and other official project correspondence.
- Maintain and update project databases, records, trackers, documentation, and project files.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Support vendor coordination, commercial discussions, and cost negotiations.
- Follow up with vendors regarding quotations, deliverables, schedules, documentation, and pending activities.
- Assist in identifying project risks, delays, dependencies, and deviations, and escalated them to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain records of project documents, approvals, correspondence, quotations, deliverables, and other relevant information.
- Support the preparation and compilation of project documentation for Defence and Government stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between various project stakeholders.
- Support project closure activities, including documentation, completion reports, and closure of outstanding action items.
- Undertake other project-management activities as assigned by the management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech / B.E. and/or MBA from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Engineering Project Management.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, coordination, and reporting.
- Experience working on Defence / Government projects will be an added advantage.
Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Project for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for project tracking, budgeting, MIS, and reporting.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for preparing professional project presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Word for project documentation and official correspondence.
- Strong documentation, reporting, database-management, and analytical skills.
Communication Skills
- Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal.
- Ability to draft professional letters, reports, MOMs, presentations, and official correspondence.
- Strong stakeholder-management and interpersonal skills.
