Mikasa Decorative Wood & Allied (Veneers & Flooring) in Mumbai seeks a Business Development Manager to drive product specifications by building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and design firms.

You will promote our veneers and flooring products, generate specifications across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and corporate projects, and support the sales team to convert specified projects into orders.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate in any discipline; preference for Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing or Business Management.
• 3–4 years of experience in Project Specification within building materials, laminates, veneers or allied industries.
• Strong network with Architects, Interior Designers and Consultants in the assigned territory.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, PMC Consultants, and Design Firms.
• Promote Mikasa Veneers and Flooring product portfolio to the architect and design fraternity.
• Generate product specifications in residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and corporate projects.
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, sample demonstrations, and design consultations.
• Track upcoming projects and ensure specifications are incorporated at the design stage.
• Coordinate closely with project sales teams for conversion of specified projects into orders.
• Arrange architect meets, design events, product launches, and customer engagement activities.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and emerging design requirements.
• Maintain project pipeline and provide regular updates through CRM and MIS reports.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and technical support requirements.

Role Purpose

To drive product specifications for Mikasa Veneers and Flooring products by developing strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and key influencers. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting products, generating specifications in projects, and supporting the sales team to convert specified projects into business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing, or Business Management will be preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience in Project Specification within building materials, laminates, veneers, flooring, plywood, furniture fittings, paints, sanitaryware, or allied industries.
• Strong network and connects with Architects, Interior Designers, and Consultants in the assigned territory.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of specification-driven sales and project business.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
