Job summary

Stylam Industries, a leader in laminates and decorative surfaces, seeks an experienced OEM/Project Sales professional to drive growth in the Hyderabad region. You will engage OEMs, architects, interior designers, and modular furniture manufacturers to expand our market footprint.

Travel will be extensive as you negotiate deals, coordinate with dealers, monitor competitors, and present product solutions at client meetings and events.

Qualifications

• 8–18 years of OEM/Project Sales experience in Laminates/Building Materials.
• Strong network with OEMs, architects, interior designers, and modular furniture manufacturers.
• MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand OEM business in the assigned territory.
• Generate new business opportunities through OEMs, modular furniture manufacturers, architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing OEM and institutional clients.
• Conduct regular market visits, client meetings, and product presentations.
• Promote laminates, MDF, decorative panels, and allied products to key stakeholders.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
• Identify new projects and ensure specification approvals from architects and consultants.
• Coordinate with dealers/distributors to enhance market penetration.
• Handle price negotiations, commercial discussions, and order closures.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Ensure timely collection payments and maintain healthy customer relationships.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management review.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
• 8 to 18 years of experience in OEM/Project Sales from Laminates, Plywood, MDF, Veneer, Decorative Surface, Building Material, or Interior Products industry.
• Strong network with OEMs, architects, interior designers, and modular furniture manufacturers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of market development and key account management.
• Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
