Job summary

Quess Corp Limited is seeking an experienced Schedule/PMO professional to manage complex IT services programs in Bengaluru. You will build and maintain schedules across MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Planner, and more, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in IT service scheduling, strong CPM and dependency management skills, and proficiency with Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SAFe or PRINCE2. Client-facing collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project scheduling, planning, or PMO roles within IT services delivery.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Project; strong working knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Planner, Monday.com, or ServiceNow PPM.
• Fluency across Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, and SAFe or PRINCE2.
• Experience scheduling at least one major IT services stream (ITSM, cloud, ERP/CRM, cybersecurity).
• Strong grasp of dependency-first scheduling, CPM, and baseline discipline.; PMP, PMI-SP, or PRINCE2 certification preferred.

Job description

Defines the value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for client focused and related service delivery projects. Manages resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital) to achieve project objectives on time, within scope and on budget. Manages delivery of multiple project initiatives to enhance services and level of client support. Responsibilities include planning, direction, prioritization, change management and delivery of projects in a manner aligned with client expectations and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, import, and maintain integrated master schedules across Microsoft Project (MPP), Planner, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Jira, Monday.com, ServiceNow PPM, and Excel/CSV, selecting the right tool per client and program need.
• Develop WBS structures, phase/milestone plans, and sprint/iteration backlogs across Waterfall, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Hybrid, SAFe, and PRINCE2 methodologies.
• Own schedule quality: no orphan tasks, no open-ended durations, visible critical path, named resources or role-typed assignments, baseline-ready dates, and explicit schedule buffer/reserve.
• Perform critical path analysis, float tracking, and communicate zero-float tasks to sponsors and delivery leads.
• Apply schedule compression techniques (fast-tracking and crashing) and clearly articulate the trade-offs of each to program leadership.
• Set and maintain schedule baselines once scope is approved; track variance, not just slipping dates.
• Build and re-plan recovery schedules for programs that are behind — identifying slippage, resequencing work, and compressing timelines without hiding risk.
• Model resource loading and capacity across the schedule to flag over-allocation before it becomes a delivery risk.
• Produce milestone-only executive summary views for steering committees, alongside detailed working-level schedules for delivery teams.
• Build cutover and hypercare planning into every go-live schedule (minimum 2-week stabilization phase post-cutover as standard practice).
• Independently manages complex projects requiring collaboration across multiple functions.
• Manages projects across all types of client engagements.
• Engages with key client stakeholders to influence decisions about business process re-design, encouraging initial and/or further adoption of Unisys technologies, products and services.
• Works with client stakeholders and Unisys functional representatives to define / sell solutions based on client requirements.
• Manages cross-functional project teams comprised of business and technical team members.
• Plays a consultative role to help put in place the right people, processes and tools to enable effective project management and success.
• Determines and coordinates sharing of leveraged resources among projects.
• Defines, implements and consults on project management standards and processes for relevant teams or projects.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years in project/program scheduling, planning, or PMO roles within IT services delivery.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Project; strong working knowledge of at least two of: Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Planner, Monday.com, ServiceNow PPM.
• Demonstrated fluency across Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, and ideally SAFe or PRINCE2.
• Experience scheduling at least one major IT services stream in depth (ITSM implementation, cloud migration, infrastructure transformation, ERP/CRM, or cybersecurity).
• Strong grasp of dependency-first schedule building, critical path method (CPM), and baseline discipline.Ai Based Scheduling is mandatory
• Comfortable presenting schedule risk, float, and compression trade-offs directly to client and executive stakeholders.
• PMP, PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional), or PRINCE2 certification.
