Job summary

Codezyng is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software development and IT services projects in a dynamic environment. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

The ideal candidate has strong SDLC understanding, 5+ years of PM experience in IT, and proficiency with Jira/Azure DevOps. A PMP/Agile certification is preferred and offshore teams experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master or Agile certification preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in IT/software services.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of software development and IT services projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver software development and IT services projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into project plans and deliverables.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, development teams, QA, DevOps, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project schedules using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and status meetings.
• Ensure quality standards, project governance, and documentation are maintained.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Manage client expectations and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle scope changes, issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience managing Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall projects.
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of risk management, budgeting, resource planning, and project estimation.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Knowledge

• Software development processes and methodologies.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are an advantage.
• API-based applications, web applications, and mobile application projects.
• DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines are desirable.
• Basic understanding of databases, integrations, and software architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or Agile certification is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience in an IT software services company.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise software projects.
• Experience managing offshore and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working directly with international clients is preferred.
