Job summary

Propel Industries in Coimbatore is seeking a project professional to prepare schedules, coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchase, and Quality teams, and ensure on-time delivery of project milestones. The role involves monitoring progress, managing resources, risks, and stakeholder communications for manufacturing projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, vendor negotiation skills, and a background in manufacturing or heavy engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in project procurement for manufacturing projects.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/heavy engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, timelines, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchase, Quality, and other departments.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify delays.
• Track material availability, manufacturing activities, and delivery milestones.
• Prepare project status reports, MIS, and progress dashboards.
• Identify project risks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct project review meetings and follow up on pending activities.
• Ensure effective resource planning and timely completion of project milestones.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders.
