Job summary

Shreno Engineering Limited, Vadodara, India, is seeking an engineering professional to manage fabrication projects from drawing interpretation to procurement planning. You will coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution and deliverables.

The role involves preparing baselines, micro‑plans, and MIS reports, while utilizing SAP for planning and procurement and Primavera P6 for scheduling to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Understand fabrication drawings and possess strong engineering knowledge related to fabrication processes.
• Prepare purchase requisitions based on drawing specifications and project requirements.
• Follow up and expedite material procurement to ensure timely availability.
• Monitor forecasts, master plans, delivery schedules, and production schedules.
• Prepare plate cutting layouts as per drawing requirements.
• Ensure timely material feeding and allocation to workstations.
• Prepare baseline project schedules aligned with project scope and requirements.
• Develop micro-plans for critical activities and major project milestones.
• Maintain project schedules, provide forecasts, and generate progress reports for project teams, management, and clients.
• Develop and maintain MIS reports, including: Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), Exception Reports, Delay Analysis Reports
• Handle and coordinate all subcontracting activities with external vendors.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess working knowledge of SAP for planning, procurement, and material management activities.
• Be proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Have hands-on knowledge of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
