Job summary

Zyeta is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – MEP to drive end-to-end MEP delivery for large-scale commercial interiors and design & build projects in Bengaluru. You will lead execution, schedule, cost, quality, HSE and client management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV services, manage contractors, prepare plans, monitor progress and mitigate risks while maintaining governance and reporting

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of experience in MEP project execution and delivery.
• Experience in commercial interiors, workplace projects, design & build or large commercial projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple MEP packages and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV and related MEP services.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, project recovery and project controls.
• Strong understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Experience in contractor management, procurement and commercial coordination.
• Strong understanding of cost, schedule, risk and change management.
• Proven client and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MEP project execution from mobilisation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV and other MEP services as applicable.
• Develop project execution plans, master schedules, look-ahead plans and recovery strategies.
• Monitor critical path activities and take timely action to recover project delays.
• Manage construction sequencing and coordinate MEP works with civil, interiors and other project workstreams.
• Resolve design, technical and interface issues between contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Manage design changes, variations and scope changes, assessing their impact on cost, schedule and resources.
• Drive procurement, material planning, logistics and vendor expediting to avoid project delays.
• Plan and optimise manpower, equipment and other project resources based on project priorities.
• Monitor project costs, variations and commercial risks and support effective commercial decision-making.
• Prepare and implement project recovery plans where projects are delayed or over budget.
• Establish inspection and quality assurance processes and ensure timely closure of NCRs and technical observations.
• Lead risk and constraint management covering permits, access, materials, resources and site conditions.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, documentation and final MEP handover.
• Maintain accurate project governance, MIS and progress reporting, ensuring reported status reflects actual site conditions.
• Lead project review meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong client relationships while maintaining commercial and contractual discipline.
• Lead, mentor and develop the MEP project team and drive accountability across functions.

About the Role

Zyeta is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – MEP to lead the end-to-end delivery of MEP works across large-scale commercial interior fit-out and design & build projects.

The role will own project execution, schedule, cost, quality, HSE, contractor performance, MEP coordination, commissioning and client management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

What You Will Do
