Job summary

Zyeta is seeking a technically strong Construction Manager – MEP to lead the execution and supervision of MEP works for commercial interior fit-out projects in India. The role requires hands-on site experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality standards.

The candidate will supervise MEP works, review drawings and BOQs, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in MEP execution for commercial interior fit-out or workplace projects.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of IS Codes, NBC, and relevant MEP standards; safety-focused execution.

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strongConstruction Manager – MEPto lead the execution and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for commercial interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on site experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise complete execution of MEP works at project sites.
  
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.
  
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  
• Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, project schedule, and quality standards.
  
• Monitor HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, Plumbing, and BMS installations.
  
• Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical issues during execution.
  
• Plan manpower, material requirements, and equipment deployment.
  
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of MEP materials.
  
• Verify measurements and contractor bills.
  
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards.
  
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag closure, and project handover.
  
• Maintain project documentation, RFIs, inspection records, and as-built drawings.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
