Job Summary

The Project Manager organizes, plans, and executes projects. They must understand the project scope, ensure completion by working with business teams, setting milestones, and communicating with stakeholders. The Project Manager oversees daily project operations to deliver required quality results within specified time and cost constraints, achieving the expected benefits outlined in the business case.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business across the organization.
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project.
• Prepare and publish project plans using agile methodology.
• Create sprint plans.
• Manage day‑to‑day project activities and resources and chair the project management team meetings.
• Drive Scrum calls.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
• Manage project scope and changes.
• Deliver projects with reasonable timelines and meet the project goals.
• Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline.
• Establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

Mandatory Skills

• Overall 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of project management.
• Working experience with business stakeholders within a cross‑functional matrix environment.
• Experience in project management – project prioritization, defining project goals and objectives, defining scope, detailing the project plan, working with stakeholders, project reviews, and execution.
• Strong expertise in estimations.
• Result‑oriented with demonstrated problem‑solving, decision‑making and prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
• Interpersonal skills to influence, spur change and facilitate performance within a cross‑functional environment.
• Strong leadership skills involving people management and client management.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Strong prior experience as either a BA or software developer.
• BA skills in documenting requirements.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira.
