JOB DESCRIPTION (JD) PROJECT ENGINEER

Position: Project Engineer (01 Position) Department: Projects & Execution Job Location: Bangalore (Projects across Karnataka and other locations as required) Experience Required: Minimum 4-7 Years in Interior Fit-outs / Turnkey Projects / Commercial Interiors / Architectural Products Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Manager Operations

Role Overview: The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and successfully executing interior fit-out and turnkey projects from project handover until final completion. The Project Engineer will act as the single point of coordination between Operations, Production, Procurement, Design, Site Supervisors, Clients and Contractors to ensure timely execution with highest quality standards. He shall ensure every project is completed within the committed timeline, budget and quality expectations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution
   • Take complete ownership of assigned projects.
   • Review drawings, BOQs and project specifications.
   • Prepare execution schedules.
   • Develop manpower deployment plans.
   • Plan project milestones and deliverables.
   • Ensure execution as per approved timelines.
2. Site Management
   • Supervise multiple project sites.
   • Conduct regular site inspections.
   • Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
   • Monitor project progress daily.
   • Resolve execution challenges immediately.
3. Coordination with Operations
   • Receive project handover from GM - Operations.
   • Update daily project progress.
   • Escalate project risks and delays.
   • Participate in weekly review meetings.
4. Coordination with Design Team
   • Verify drawings before execution.
   • Clarify design issues.
   • Coordinate revisions.
   • Ensure execution matches approved drawings.
5. Coordination with Production
   • Ensure production schedules match site requirements.
   • Coordinate dispatch schedules.
   • Monitor installation readiness.
6. Procurement Coordination
   • Raise material indent.
   • Monitor procurement status.
   • Ensure timely material availability.
   • Verify delivered materials.
7. Client Coordination
   • Attend client meetings.
   • Provide project updates.
   • Handle client concerns professionally.
   • Obtain stage approvals.
8. Contractor & Labour Management
   • Manage subcontractors.
   • Supervise labour deployment.
   • Ensure productivity.
   • Monitor attendance and discipline.
9. Quality Control
   • Ensure workmanship as per company standards.
   • Conduct quality inspections.
   • Minimize rework.
   • Close snag points before handover.
10. Project Documentation Maintain:

11. Safety Management

    • Coordinate final documentation.
    • Ensure successful handover.

Educational Qualification
