Job summary

TGBPL TP India - GBS is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee various project teams and ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities include organizing teams, monitoring project status, and resolving any obstacles that may arise.

The ideal candidate should have advanced project management skills and experience supervising specialists. They will also take part in the implementation of short- to medium-term activities while managing the full employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and experience in project management.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate lower-level specialists.
• Experience in delivering input to policies and processes.

• Organize project teams, assign responsibilities, and develop schedules.
• Monitor and report project status, including cost and timing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and resolve obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
• Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
• May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
• On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables

Qualifications and Experience

Positions on this level have advanced knowledge and experience and participate in or lead the development of new solutions/projects. They share best practice and advice with co‑workers in the professional area. They not only generate their own workload but also outline directions to others, supervising and coordinating lower‑level specialists as the single point of contact for complex matters. They coordinate daily operations, enable and oversee the implementation of short‑ to medium‑term activities within the team, deliver input to policies, processes, and standards where decisions are tactical and operational within a defined scope, and manage a mixed team of Specialist and Support jobs with full employee lifecycle responsibility.
