Fluentgrid Limited in Visakhapatnam, India, seeks a Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementation of large-scale Electricity Utility Billing, CIS, and CRM projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders and vendors, ensure governance and Go-Live readiness, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, IT or related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM is desirable.
• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end implementation of Utility Billing, CIS, CRM, metering, collections, and customer service solutions.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
• Ensure timely delivery while meeting scope, quality, and budget commitments.
• Monitor project progress and drive issue resolution.
• Act as the primary interface between utility stakeholders, implementation teams, vendors, and management.

Job Summary

The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end implementation of large-scale Electricity Utility Billing, CIS, and CRM projects. The role is responsible for project planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, resource management, quality assurance, and successful project delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Manage end-to-end implementation of Utility Billing, CIS, CRM, Metering, Collections, and Customer Service solutions
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and milestone tracking
• Ensure timely delivery while meeting scope, quality, and budget commitments
• Monitor project progress and drive issue resolution
• Stakeholder & Customer Management
• Act as the primary interface between utility stakeholders, implementation teams, vendors, and management

Team & Resource Management

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising Business Analysts, Developers, QA, DevOps, Database Administrators, and Support Engineers
• Plan resource allocation, monitor performance, and address skill gaps through mentoring and training

Risk & Change Management

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and critical issues, and implement mitigation plans
• Manage change requests, project escalations, and decision logs to ensure smooth project execution

Technical & Solution Coordination

• Coordinate with Product and Technical teams to ensure solution alignment with business requirements
• Review solution architecture, deployment plans, integrations, security compliance, and infrastructure readiness

Quality & Delivery Assurance

• Ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT, Performance Testing, Security Testing, and Go-Live activities
• Track implementation quality, defect closure, and production readiness

Commercial & Governance

• Monitor project budgets, commercial milestones, contracts, and resource utilization
• Prepare project status reports, management dashboards, risk registers, and executive presentations

Post Go-Live Support

• Lead Hypercare and stabilization activities
• Monitor SLA compliance, production support, and continuous service improvements

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years of experience in implementing Electricity Utility Billing/CIS/CRM solutions
• Experience delivering large-scale utility projects for Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOMs)
• Strong understanding of Metering, Billing, Collections, Customer Service, and Smart Metering (AMI)
• Experience managing enterprise implementations for utilities with over 1 million consumers
• Exposure to government/public sector utility projects and multi-vendor environments
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital transformation projects using modern enterprise technologies
