Job summary

Esyasoft Technologies Private Limited in Ujjain, India, seeks a senior AMI/Smart Metering Project Manager with 12+ years in Energy & Utilities. You will lead end-to-end AMISP projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will coordinate with DISCOMs, utilities, vendors, system integrators, and field teams to ensure seamless integration of HES, MDM, networks and meter infrastructure, while monitoring KPIs and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Energy & Utilities projects, with significant exposure to AMI/Smart Metering programs.
• Experience managing utility-scale deployments under RDSS, AMI, or smart grid initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AMISP project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Lead large-scale smart meter installation and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with DISCOMs, utilities, vendors, system integrators, and field teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of HES, MDM, communication networks, and meter infrastructure.
• Track project schedules, budgets, risks, and resource utilization.
• Monitor KPIs, SLA adherence, and project performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with utility regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Drive issue resolution, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.
• Prepare project status reports and present updates to senior leadership and customers.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and support.

Job Description
